Doug Knox
Doug, CEO and founder of SealGlobal.Co, is a fearless and visionary leader whose career in FMCG packaging spans nearly five decades. Starting as a trainee ink technician in 1976, Doug quickly developed a passion for the hidden science behind packaging and its vital role in daily life. His early innovations—including pioneering water-based in-line coatings for litho presses—disrupted industry norms and laid the groundwork for SealGlobal.Co’s globally patented flagship product, KandyKote®.
Since joining the company in 1987, Doug has guided it through exponential growth, driven by a relentless pursuit of sustainable, high-performance solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the FMCG sector. Known for his eccentric brilliance and unmatched industry insight, Doug continues to champion bold ideas and challenge conventions—leading SealGlobal.Co with purpose, creativity and a commitment to shaping a better packaging future for people and the planet.

Shalane Knox
With over 25 years of unwavering dedication to Seal Chemistry, Shalane Knox embodies the company’s culture of commitment, precision, and progress. Joining in 2000, Shalane quickly established herself as a cornerstone of the organisation through her proactive nature, meticulous attention to detail, and deep operational understanding. Her career has spanned a wide spectrum of administrative and management functions, from overseeing all aspects of raw material and finished goods stock control—a vital element of any manufacturing business—to shaping the internal efficiencies that keep Seal Chemistry performing at its best.
Curious and driven to understand every layer of the business, Shalane spent extensive time in the laboratories, cultivating both a technical appreciation and a genuine passion for the company’s products and processes. Under the mentorship of Doug Knox, and as his long-time Personal Assistant, she gained exceptional insight into the industry, its challenges, and the evolving science behind sustainable coatings.
Her steady rise through the ranks reflects both her leadership ability and her intrinsic grasp of Seal Chemistry’s values. Today, as Managing Director, Shalane brings together years of institutional knowledge, people-centred management, and a clear vision for the company’s continued innovation and growth—anchored in the same authenticity, precision, and excellence that have defined her journey.

Richard has been an architect behind SealGlobal.Co’s operational strength and sustained success. After consulting for the company in its early years, Richard formally joined in 2004 and has since played an instrumental role in transforming and refining the business from the inside out.
A champion of continuous improvement, Richard has led the streamlining of internal systems and the implementation of structures that have supported key accreditations and growth milestones. Backed by a skilled and committed team, his meticulous approach ensures the company remains agile, efficient and always aligned to delivering value—both to customers and employees. His deep understanding of FMCG retail and brand —shaped by years at top agencies and over a decade running his own firm —has made him a driving force behind our brand evolution.
Since transitioning from agency partner to in-house Marketing Director in 2022, Marc has helped transform how we communicate, connect, and compete. From revitalising our visual identity to expanding our digital footprint, his insight adds a dynamic new dimension to the business. Passionate about storytelling and brand clarity, Marc continues to elevate SealGlobal.Co’s presence in the market—ensuring our values, innovations and impact are seen and understood across every channel.

Clive Moonsamy
With over two decades of service and 26 years of industry experience, Clive embodies the values at the heart of SealGlobal.Co: loyalty, innovation and a passion for people and performance. Since joining in 2002 as a Technician, Clive has steadily advanced through the ranks—from QC Manager to Product Manager—and now takes on the pivotal role of National Technical Sales Manager.
Clive’s journey reflects a rare blend of technical depth, strategic thinking, and customer focus. His leadership has shaped our lab, production and service standards, and now drives nationwide solutions that align product performance with market needs.
